Screenshots and why they convert
6 screenshots of up to 10. The first 3 show in search results when there's no preview video.

#1In search results
AI Chatbot
- ai chatbotnot in name
- What it shows
- A glowing flower-shaped logo, the line “Powered by GPT-5, DeepSeek, Claude & more”, rows of prompt chips such as Translate text and Generate image, and a “3+M Downloads” badge with five stars.
- Why it converts
- Names the category in the first words and lists what it can do. The prompt chips make the use cases concrete, but the small chip text is hard to read at search size.

#2In search results
Ask Anything - Get Smart AI Responses
- ai responsesnot in name
- What it shows
- A chat screen with a question about investing in 2026 and a long, formatted answer. The input bar reads “Ask Anything...”.
- Why it converts
- Shows the core loop, ask and get an answer, in a real chat UI. The headline is large and readable. The phrase “Ask Anything” is broad, so the sample question carries the specifics.

#3In search results
Generate Stunning AI Images
- ai imagesnot in name
- What it shows
- A prompt asking for a cat astronaut and a generated image of a cat in a space helmet, shown inside the chat.
- Why it converts
- It shows the output, not just the prompt box. “Generate AI images” names a feature people look for.

#4
Browse the Web with AI
- internet searchnot in name
- What it shows
- A search screen with source options (Entire internet, Youtube videos, Forums and social media, Academic papers), the query “Where to eat in Paris?” and a keyboard.
- Why it converts
- Adds a different job: live answers from the web. The source options show where answers come from. The keyboard fills much of the frame and the options are small.

#5
Summarize any document
- summarize documentnot in name
- What it shows
- PDF, DOC, XLS and TXT labels under the headline, and a chat where a PDF is attached and a summary follows.
- Why it converts
- The file-type labels name the formats at a glance. The attached PDF and summary show the input and the result in one frame.

#6
Summarize any video even from Youtube
- summarize videonot in name
- What it shows
- A chat where a video thumbnail is shared and a text summary of it appears, with a YouTube logo in the headline.
- Why it converts
- Naming a known source makes the feature easy to picture. It follows the document screenshot with the same layout, so the two read as a pair.
Icon and design system
What makes the page read as one brand at a glance.
- 01
White headline with a subline
Most images have a white headline, then a second line that explains it.
- 02
One feature per screenshot after the first
Questions, images, web search, documents and video each get their own image. Most headlines name a task people look for.
- 03
Real chat UI under the headline
A phone frame shows an actual prompt and result. A visitor sees the output, not only a description.
- 04
Badge on the first frame
A “3+M Downloads” badge with stars sits under the intro. The app prints it as its own claim.
- 05
Dark dotted background on most images
Most images use the same black background and dot grid, and the content changes, so the set reads as one system.

Apply it to your app
A checklist for your next product page update.
- Name the category in the first words of screenshot 1.
- List the things your app can do as short chips or labels, so a visitor sees the range fast.
- Show the result of a task, such as an image or a summary, not only the input box.
- Give each screenshot one task and name it in the headline.
- Put a user-count or rating badge on the first image if you can back it up.
- Make small UI text larger or crop it, so it still reads at search-result size.

Common questions
What is an ASO score?
A 100-point check of the parts of an App Store page you control: the app name, screenshots, ratings and how recently the app was updated. It's our own scoring rule, shown in full on this page, not a number from Apple. Use it to compare your page with apps that already sell well in your category.
How long can an app name be on the App Store?
30 characters. A common pattern is a short brand followed by the main thing people search for, like “Genora AI – Chat Bot Assistant”, which uses 30. Apple also gives you a 30-character subtitle and a 100-character keyword field for more terms.
Which screenshots show up in App Store search results?
The first one to three, when the app has no preview video. That's why the first three should cover the main reasons people download. Genora AI uses them for ai chatbot, ai responses and ai images.
How many screenshots can an iPhone app have?
Up to 10 per device size. Apple recommends focusing each screenshot after the first on one main benefit or feature. Genora AI uses 6.
Where do the download and revenue numbers come from?
They're third-party estimates for the US App Store, not figures reported by the developer. Treat them as a sense of scale. Growth compares the latest month with the month before.
Do screenshot captions help an app rank in search?
Apple says search results use text matches in the app name, subtitle, keywords and primary category, plus user behavior such as downloads, ratings and reviews. Captions aren't on that list: they help people who already see the app decide to download. When a caption names something people search for, put that term in the keyword field too.
Where the numbers come from
- Apple: Creating your product page
- App name limit (30 characters), up to 10 screenshots, the first one to three shown in search results, keyword field.
- Apple: App Store search
- Search results use text relevance (name, subtitle, keywords, primary category) and user behavior (downloads, ratings, reviews).
- Apple: Ratings, reviews and responses
- The in-app rating prompt can be shown up to three times in a 365-day period.
- Genora AI – Chat Bot Assistant on the App Store
- Name, developer, category, icon, screenshots, rating, release and update dates (US storefront), checked Nov 4, 2026.
- Downloads and revenue
- Third-party est. for the US App Store, latest month, pulled Oct 29, 2026. Not reported by the developer.
